For nearly three decades, Optimum Sport has been a silent partner on the pitch.
From the muddy winter fields of the UK’s North West to the bright lights of international dance stages, we’ve been there—providing the protection, the footwear, and the apparel that lets athletes perform at their best.

But 2026 marks a new era for us. Following our recent Management Buyout and the appointment of our new leadership team, we are looking forward, not back, and we’re renewing our commitment to the grassroots community that built us.

Introducing "The Optimum 30"

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our "30 Rising Stars" campaign to celebrate our 30^th birthday.
We are looking for 30 young people—from any sporting background—who embody dedication, passion, and potential.

Whether they are scoring tries in the rain, perfecting a reel for the Irish Dance World Championships, or simply showing up to training every single week with a smile, we want to know about them.

What receives a Rising Star?

Selected athletes will receive a custom "Sponsorship Pack" designed right here in our Wigan headquarters. This includes bespoke, sublimated sports clothing tailored to their specific discipline—showing the same quality we provide to our professional partners like Wigan Youth Zone.

Why are we doing this?

We know that the cost of sport is rising and we pride ourselves on keeping quality high and costs accessible, like with our Aztec boot range. This campaign is an extension of that ethos. We want to make sure that talented young people look and feel like professionals, regardless of budget.
