Congratulations Kruger!
Optimum sponsored player Juandre Krugers side Northampton Saints produced a superb display of attacking rugby to win the first ever Ango-Welsh LV= Cup final against Gloucester at Sixways on Sunday.
The Saints out-scored Gloucester by three tries to two on their way to securing the 30-24 victory in the final. Not only have they sealed their first piece of silverware but the victory ensures that Northampton Saints have qualified for next seasons Heineken Cup. Both sides thrilled the crowd with some superb running rugby but the Saints showed their metal to win a major domestic cup for the first time in their history, having been four times losing finalists. It also ensured they ended the tournament as the only undefeated side and made it three seasons in a row where the club has secured silverware. Congratulations boys! |
